We cut the chicken meat to better penetrate the spices.

In a bowl, mix the mustard with the honey and other spices, including the wine. Put this mixture in a bag and throw the chicken pieces on top. We tie the bag well and give it some massage, but from that it can be felt by anyone to fit the spices well in the chicken. Then we put the bag in the fridge until the next day.

In a tray we put some baking paper, or not, we cut two round onions and on top we put the chicken pieces. Bake until golden brown.

Have a craving!

(P) Chinese cuisine: 5 delicious dishes

Chinese cuisine is an interesting combination of colors, flavors and shapes and addresses all the senses, even if the taste is its main asset.

Chinese recipes are diverse and unexpected, but they are all based on a few key ingredients, such as rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken and seafood. An equally important role is played by spices, and among the most used are ginger, mustard, garlic, sesame, bamboo, cinnamon and hot pepper.

If you haven't tried any Chinese cuisine so far, we recommend some delicious dishes!

1. Sweet and sour chicken with pineapple

The sweet and sour pineapple chicken recipe is one of the most popular in Chinese cuisine, but lately it has gained a lot of fans abroad, so now, this dish is also served in restaurants in Europe. The sweet taste of sugar is perfectly balanced in this recipe by the sour taste offered by Chinese vinegar. At the end, the sweet and sour chicken can be served with a portion of fried rice with vegetables, or with simple rice noodles.

2. Xiaolongbao

Steamed dumplings, also called Xialongbao, are extremely popular in Shanghai. The traditional filling consists of pork and a special soup, made of aspic, which is liquefied on steam. However, to enjoy these dumplings, without getting burnt on the esophagus, it is recommended to pinch them before serving, so that the hot steam comes out. Then, you can carefully sip the soup from the inside, and at the end you can eat the remaining filling.

3. Fried rice

Fried rice is extremely popular in Asian countries, but the recipe originates in China. It is usually prepared with vegetables and pieces of meat, mixed together in a wok pan with soy sauce and flavored oils. This is just a method in which you can prepare fried rice, but you can also serve it in other combinations, such as beaten egg or various spices.

4. Ants in the tree

The name of this dish may sound strange in Romanian, but the recipe is very delicious, and can be served even during Lent. Normally, this recipe is prepared with noodles and minced pork, but in the fasting version, the recipe can be prepared with soybeans or mushrooms. After cooking, this dish can be served simply, or with a garnish of rice.

5. Rata Pekin

Peking duck is a popular recipe in Beijing gastronomy, this dish being prepared since the imperial period. In this dish, duck meat is served in the form of thin slices, which are carefully fried, and the skin is crispy, and can be served separately with sugar and garlic sauce. Pekin duck can also be eaten with a vegetable garnish, or with pancakes, sweet sauce or soy sauce.

Chinese cuisine is extremely complex, and recipes are passed down from generation to generation, the chefs being also very skilled.

Given that Chinese cuisine is influenced by eight subcultures, it will be difficult for you to try all the dishes, so you can start with the most popular dishes. And if you don't have a trip to China too soon, you can now order Chinese food with delivery in Bucharest, for you and your friends!

Sweet and sour chicken - Recipes

And it was the turn of the first recipe posted in 2014. I hope it will be a year full of achievements for each of us and especially a new year in which to be healthy and enjoy life with our loved ones.

For today I thought of a less common recipe and for some it will seem a little strange because of the combination of tastes. This is a dukan recipe, which can also be adapted for consolidation or stabilization.

Cruise Phase (PL), Consolidation, Definitive Stabilization

-1 large diced chicken breast

-2 diced green peppers

- ½ pineapple cup pieces (only for consolidation and final stabilization)

- 1 lg cornstarch (optional)

Preparation. In a non-stick pan, fry the chicken until the meat is white. Then add the pepper, salt and pepper and sauté for another 2 minutes. Then add the pineapple pieces (if we use them) and the orange juice (slit).

Bring to a simmer with a lid until the sauce begins to drop. If you think that the sauce is not thickened well enough, mix the starch with 2-3 lbs of orange juice (slit) and pour it into the pan. This will make the sauce more consistent.

If you are not on a diet or if you are in the final consolidation or stabilization phase, you can eat sweet and sour chicken with rice.

Sweet and sour Korean chicken, perfect for any garnish

1

You don't know what to cook anymore? Grab this simple and delicious recipe that can be easily adapted for lunch or dinner.

It is one of my favorite recipes, because it goes perfectly with any garnish & # 8211 rice, quinoa, vegetable bowl, etc. It is healthy, but the combination of honey and rice vinegar turns it into a delight that makes you lick your fingers. Attention: the recipe is spicy. If you don't like this, remove the chili paste and replace it with sweet pepper or tomato paste. You can also put less ginger than recommended in the recipe.

Ingredient:

1 white onion, thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, grated

1 piece of ginger (about 10 cm), grated

450 grams of boneless chicken legs without skin

Method of preparation:

Combine all the ingredients until you form a homogeneous texture, then apply the sauce thus obtained on each piece of chicken. Mix everything in a bowl and let the chicken marinate for 20 minutes.

Transfer everything to a pressure cooker and cook for 10 minutes, until the chicken is tender. If you do not have a pressure cooker, any normal pot with a lid will do its job. Check from time to time to make sure the chicken doesn't get caught and add a little water if you notice it sticking.

At the end, put the chicken in a bowl, let it cool and break it into pieces. You can sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Use sweet and sour Korean chicken for mashed potatoes, rice or pan-fried vegetables. Or you can make a taco & # 8211 why not?

CHICKEN WITH BAMBOO

From the diverse combinations of salty with sweet-sour or spicy, from chicken with pineapple or chicken with fish flavor and ants in the tree, as well as fried ice cream, I have always enjoyed Chinese dishes with pleasure and over time I have become a fan of them ready to experience at home the secret of the unique and unmistakable taste of Asian cuisine.

The recipes are prepared quite quickly and are extremely tasty and healthy, and what delights me every time is the explosion of flavors that you create on the plate of at least two or three dishes that you choose depending on your personal preferences.

I present below one of the recipes that I love chicken with bamboo that you can easily make in half an hour in your own kitchen with just a few ingredients.

ingredients:

  • 200 gr. chicken breast
  • ½ red bell peppers
  • 1 small carrot
  • 150 gr. bamboo
  • olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Chinese mixture 5 spices
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoon starch

Put two tablespoons of oil in the pan and brown over a high heat the thinly sliced chicken breast strips.

Add the bamboo slices, julienned carrot, soy sauce and fresh ginger. Put a teaspoon of pepper paste, sprinkle the spice mixture, then pour a cup of water and let the pan boil for 5-6 minutes.

You can already hear the noisy squeak that warns me that the sauce has dropped and it's time to add the bell pepper.

I stir it together with the other ingredients, and at the end I pour the starch diluted in 3-4 tablespoons of water into the pan.

Mix a few times to homogenize the vegetables with the chicken breast and the creamy sauce that formed then leave them for another 2 minutes and set them aside.

I have already boiled a little 125 grams of rice, which I left to cool, and I prepare some vegetables (a handful of peas and half a carrot) which I quickly fry in a pan with a little oil and a spoonful of mushroom ears. wooden.

Pour over them the rice, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and a few drops of teriyaki sauce, then let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the rice is fried.

I quickly mount it on the plate with my bamboo chicken and the wooden-eared chicken, for which I will return with a detailed recipe.

Sweet and Sour Chicken

When you have a craving for something Asian, I invite you to try a very popular Chinese recipe that will immediately conquer your taste buds: Sweet and Sour Chicken. As its name suggests, it is a food that manages to balance in an absolutely delicious way the sweet spices with the sour ones, its purpose being only one: to obtain sensory pleasure. So, arm yourself with the Wok and the necessary ingredients because this recipe must be tried immediately!

First cut the chicken breast into cubes. Then season with salt and pepper. It is set aside.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. The carrot is cut into long and thin strips, and the bell peppers are cut into cubes.

Sweet and sour sauce can be prepared at home from ¾ cup of sugar, 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce, ½ cup of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. All this is added in a bowl and mixed. But, if we want to save time and always have this delicious sauce at hand, we can buy it ready prepared from any hypermarket.

In a Wok pan, add oil and let it heat over the hot flame. Then add the vegetables, stirring the Wok continuously. Thus, the vegetables will be fried evenly over a high heat. In about 5-10 minutes, the vegetables will be well cooked, but will retain their special flavor and color. Remove the vegetables in a bowl and set aside.

In the sauce left in the Wok pan from the vegetables, add the diced chicken. It will also be fried over a high heat, shaking the pan without stopping. When the chicken pieces are done, add back the already hardened vegetables. Now you can add the sweet and sour sauce, depending on the taste. Continue mixing the vegetables, meat and sauce, stirring the Wok continuously until the whole composition is homogenized.
